Greeting Fellow Classmates,
 
We pray that this letter finds you and your family doing well as always. The planning committee has been busy planning an exciting, busy and fun-filled weekend for us once again to be in fellowship after a total of 30 years. It is so awesome just to reflect of the blessing of this opportunity to come back together and reminisce one more time. The activities are planned for June 13-15, 2008. The following events are being organized for our enjoyment:

FIRST!! "COME WALK THE RED CARPET" as you enter "A NIGHT WITH THE STARS OF THE CLASS OF 1978!!" - YES! Everyone is a STAR and we will roll out the "RED CARPET" & "PLACE YOUR STAR - WITH YOUR NAME ON IT, ON THE RED CARPET - AWESOME!!" at the "ELDORADA Casino & Resort Ballroom" as you enter our 30th CELEBRATION! It is going to be an GRAND EVENT!! Don't forget, it's a Black & White ATTIRE Night.
 
June 13, 2008 – Friday  – Get Reacquainted Reception 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
                         -   Banquet (WALK ACROSS THE STAGE TO GET YOUR PARTICIPATION DIPLOMA) –                                    7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
                         -   Social Dance – JAZZ Time                   9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
 
This event will be held at the ELDORADO Casino & Resort Ball Rooms, 451 Clyde Fant Pkwy (Downtown) Shreveport, 71101.   The attire is semi-formal.
 
June 14, 2008 - Class PARADE from J.S. Clark to BTW  9:00 a.m.
Decorate your cars, put your CAR FLAGS on & Let's ROLL.......
        
June 14, 2008 – Memorial Tribute                      10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Booker T. Washington Gym
                            - Class of 1978 – T-Shirt Photos     11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.   (Photos  $10.00)
                            - BTW School Tour/Picnic                  12:00 p.m. -   3:00 p.m.
                            (refreshments/picnic to follow at Rec Center - next door to BTW)
 
This event will be held at Our Old Stomping Ground – Booker T. Washington High. The attire will be Reunion T-Shirts & Jeans.
 
 June 14, 2008 – Old School, New School, Give it what you Dance! 7:00-1:00 a.m.
 
The event will be held at the ELDORADO Casino & Resort Ballrooms, 451 Clyde Fant Pkwy, (Downtown) Shreveport, LA 71101. The attire is casual.
 
 June 15, 2008 - Worship Service and Family Activity – Lake Bethlehem Baptist Church (on the Cooper Road).
 
The cost is $200.00 per class member and $300.00 for members who are married to each other from our class, who will also be participating. The fee includes the cost of our Events Facilities (Friday & Saturday Night), All Food at every event (Friday night Banquet, Saturday’s Refreshments/Picnic, Saturday Night Dance Food and After Church Father’s Day Dinner), Souvenir Books, T-Shirts,  Souvenir Bags, Reunion DVD,  Souvenir Lions, Badges, Certificates, etc. The fees are due no later than April 30, 2008. Please send all payments and correspondence to BTW Class of ’78 Reunion, P.O. We are praying that everyone will be able to attend. PLEASE put these dates and your Vacation Time on your calendars now. You’ll be receiving updates from the committee in the coming months. If you would like to offer your services, please contact any of the committee members.
